3 Harmful Things CBD Articles Get Wrong

Cannabinoids are been used in many psychedelic medicine programs. CBD is one of the most researched cannabinoids among 113+ cannabinoids found in the cannabis sativa plant. It is an alternative to opioids for chronic pain, however, it may be also helpful in treating inflammation and other conditions.

CBD can cure, but there are so many myths out there about it. In this post, I've tried to clear the air around this miracle cannabinoid.

Myth #1 CBD in Non-psychoactive

Almost all the articles on the world wide web say that CBD is non-psychoactive. Consuming it won't make you 'high', however, saying that CBD is nonpsychoactive won't be correct either. For a substance to be classified as 'psychoactive' it simply needs to have some effects on a person's mental state. So even caffeine, as well as alcohol, fits into this category. With CBD, studies suggest that CBD attaches itself to several different receptors, and does cause a mild effect on various parts.

Myth #2  CBD is Addictive

One of the common worries for CBD-skeptical is that consuming this compound will lead to dependency. Although we understand where you're coming from... it's always good to do your research before taking anything. However, as per World Health Organization, CBD exhibits no potential dependency. As of now, there is no evidence of health-related problems due to CBD.

Myth #3 CBD Becomes THC in Your Stomach

As CBD alumni, we have seen days when people believed that the hydrochloric acid in the stomach had the power to transform CBD compound into THC inside your stomach. This worried a lot of folks, as CBD turned THC could produce a different effect on the consumer. However, later on, it was found out that the scientific paper that exposed it was funded by a non-profit corporation vest against oral CBD.
