New Cannabinoids Discovery Showed Promising Results For Medical Pain

In recent months, it's the lesser-known cannabinoids that are showing promising results. They are researched further for treating common conditions such as inflammation and pain.

Jacknin, CEO of a massive skincare brand spoke at PAINWeek 2022 on the potentially many benefits of newly discovered cannabinoids. The new cannabinoids such as CBGa, Cannabinol(CBN), Cannabichromene(CBC), Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCa).

Currently, we know that there are 113 cannabinoids, the most popular ones being CBD is helping millions of people around the world to reduce pain.

A couple of researchers revealed CBGa to be helpful in treating neuropathic pain, neurodegenerative disease, and even epilepsy.

CBC is also a key compound in neurology. Jacknin says "It encourages neurogenesis". She also shared that this compound could be useful for the senior members of the family.

CBN is also important, it has revealed it's anti-inflammatory properties and is effective in lowering intraocular pressure.

These cannabinoids are present in the cannabis sativa plant and may contribute to neurological conditions such as dementia. Jacknin shared that the combined effect of the THC and CBD works best for treating depression and can be helpful in pain relief.

However, more clinical trials would be required to measure the performance of these cannabinoids at different levels. That said, these discoveries are going to be amazing for the future.

In the end, Jacknin said - "Cannabinoids like these will revolutionize neurology treatment, prevention, and pain."
